Storybook Gardens This Summer

With Old McDonald’s Farm, rides, games, play areas, entertainment, face painting, and beautiful gardens, Storybook Gardens provides families fun and special memories that last a lifetime. This is a village of imagination that is open all year round and offers different activities and adventures for the different seasons. Visitors can enjoy the unique outdoor skating trail in winter and the splash pad in summer. Storybook Gardens inspires imagination through interactive play and learning within an enchanted storybook environment.
Storybook Gardens offers all kinds of activities for children and families, including birthday parties, day camps, and educational group programs. Storybook Gardens has a lot of fun planned for this summer. There is the singing performance of Markus, who is winner of the best Children’s Song Award; world storyteller Gail Fricker, who blends international folk tales with music and song; and storyteller Diane Halpin, who interweaves storytelling with Celtic drumming. In additional to live performances, Storybook Gardens also features ‘Fairy Day’ on July 7, where Tinker Bell returns to spread her magic fairy dust on Storybook. Storybook Gardens will feature ‘Music with Brian and Friends’ on July 8, as well as puppetfolk of Sue Vanuynhoven on July 13. Children’s favorite characters are all returning to Storybook Gardens: Spiderman on July 14, Star War Characters on July 21, and Scooby Doo on July 28. Storyteller Renna Bruce and James Funnyhat are coming as well, on July 15 and July 29 respectively. Renna is the author of the popular ‘Jazlyn J’ series and James is a children’s musician and storyteller based out of Toronto. Children will also have a musical adventure to participate in on July 22 with ‘Dan the Music Man’.
A lot of fun experiences are taking place at Storybook Gardens this July and there are many more to look forward in August. For more information visit www.storybook.london.ca
