Former JA Student Gives Back
I remember grade nine and someone coming to talk to us about Junior Achievement. I wanted to learn about business and it seemed like this was my chance to have a blast while doing it. So I gave it a try. I went for every year of high school never missing a week. I actually missed it when I graduated high school and could no longer attend. Here I am at 33 years old, using the skills I learned there to run a sales and marketing team for a large Human Resources firm. It continues to amaze me how accurate the skills I learned in JA were so easily transferred into the "REAL" world. My advisors inspired me and now it is simply my turn to pay it forward.
