Habitat Goes Green
Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with Labourers Union Local 1059 and Try Recycling are currently working on a project on Springbank Drive. Robert Spano, Habitat for Humanity London Building and Property Development commented, "This is a training and activity supplement for some of the Union members who are not fully engaged at the moment.” Habitat for Humanity has waste bins from Try Recycling to steam and recycle material. "They are dismantling the property stick by stick and preserving as much in an original position as possible," says Spano. The group is expecting to be finished dismantling by the end of January.
